The annual Gary Christy Memorial Trial Skills Clinic is an important program for Georgia Lawyers to attend. This four day intensive program allows Georgia Trial Attorneys to hone their legal skills in order to better represent clients in a court of law.

1.  Factual Scenarios, criminal and civil: Two cases are assigned to the participants and are basically litigated from start to finish as if the cases were real. This includes opening statements, direct examinations, cross-examinations and closing statements. The program days can last eight hours per day and extensive homework is given each night for the next day.

2. Important for your attorney to stay sharp: Attorneys are not in trial every week.  In fact, ninety percent of cases never make it to trial.  Therefore, it is important for your attorney to polish their trial skills and practice trial techniques outside of the courtroom. This seminar allows trial attorneys to sharpen skills and learn from other practitioners.
